Abstract


The purpose of this study was to improve the assessment and evaluation skills of teachers in public primary and secondary schools in Jigawa state, Nigeria. These were with a view of improving the quality of assessment and evaluation skills of teachers in public employment in the state. The study employed a mixed method approach of both survey and quasi-experimental designs. The target population of this study comprised teachers in all public primary and secondary schools in the state.
