A Qualıtatıve Research on the Kyrgyz Literature Textbook of the 9th Class

Textbooks are a tool for transforming knowledge into skill. With this awareness, the student should be able to examine the reading text in the textbooks and comprehend the message given in the text. In this study, textbooks prepared for 9th classes of Kyrgyz high schools are based on teaching. In this direction, the 9 class Kyrgyz literature textbook (2012) is examined in terms of form and content. Data related to the research were collected by document analysis method. In this light of the data obtained, the Kyrgyz literature textbooks can transfer the development and achievements of the Kyrgyz poetry, novel and theatre to the students. The textbook is consistent with the Kyrgyz literature program prepared in 2018. Results and evaluations were made in accordance with the results obtained in the study and suggestions were presented.
