The Effect of Different Doses of Humic Acid and Zinc on N, P and K Content in Chickpea Plants

This study is aimed to determine the effect of varying doses of humic acid and zinc applications on the N, P, K contents of chickpea plants in grain and stem components. In trials, 0 and 40 kg da-1 humic acid and 0, 2, 4 kg da-1 zinc doses were applied. The study was carried out in the research and application field of Van Yuzuncu Yil University, Faculty of Agriculture. The experiment was divided into divided plots according to the experimental design. As the basic fertilization, 5 kg da-1 nitrogen as ammonium sulfate and 6 kg da-1 phosphorus as TSP doses were applied. Before starting the experiments, soil textures, soil reaction, lime, organic matter, salt content, total nitrogen, phosphorus and useful potassium analyzes were made in the soils where the experiment will be carried out. In the light of the data obtained from the experiment, it was observed that humic acid and zinc doses increased the content of N and K in the chickpea plants in grain and stem components, while a decrease in the content of P was observed. However, the effect of different doses of humic acid and zinc on the N, P and K content of chickpea was statistically insignificant. As a result of the study, it was proposed to use 4 kg da-1 Zn dose and 40 kg da-1 humic acid application in chickpea cultivation for local conditions.
