Abstract

The Central African Republic (CAR) is the prototype of the African Continent, which consists of fifty-four states in terms of geostrategic location, natural resources and pogroms. Africa, which has been continuously exploited since being discovered by the new world, has continued to be exploited within post colonialism even after the independence period. The CAR is continuing to be exploited by France in similarity with the new type of colonialism. When assessed in the context of conflicts and pogroms, it is observed that ethnic and religious identities are not reconciled in CAR and throughout Africa. This process is not well managed and sometimes even supported by great powers on the basis of their own interests. As it is also in Africa Africa, CAR’s most important advantage in the last period has been the immediate presence of newly emerging regional powers. Thus, not only European goods but also Chinese, Russian and even Turkish goods can find their place in the African virgin market where competition environment is formed. The most important move Turkey needs to make at this point will be to provide support for the formation of a consensus environment and, if necessary, to act as a mediator between the parties and invest in CAR and the whole of Africa. With these investments, Turkey should be able to co-operate mutually beneficial interests within the framework of win-win policies, not its pure interests. Investments to be made, there may be financial support as well as human investments in the form of training and seminars. Thus, in particular, CAR, in general, the confidence of the African peoples can be achieved, and relations can be shaped on the basis of mutual trust in each area.
