Emotional Intelligence, Spiritual Intelligence and Employee Performance: The Mediating Role of Work Motivation

Abstract


The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of emotional and spiritual intelligence on the employee performance of sharia banking in jember with motivation as mediating. The populations of this study are all employees of Mandiri Sharia Banking and Sinarmas Sharia Banking in Jember. The research method is path analysis. The sampling technique used is census technique where the whole population as the research sample which is 103 employees. The result showed that emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, and graft motivation have a significant and positive impact on the employee performance. Emotional intelligence and Spiritual intelligence also have a significant positive impact on the motivation of employees. Detailed data analysis, discussion and conclusion with limitations and future research directions are also discussed.
