Abstract

In this study, computer-aided modeling program that SolidWorks software 3D modeled an internal combustion diesel piston (AlSi) and layered binding call on the piston (NiCoCrAlY) on Al2O3, TiO2 and SiC thermal barrier by coating with a material, thermal analysis in SolidWorks Simulation software It is made. Soil work / simulation program made to assign materials and mathematical model has been developed. In the thermal analyses of thermal barrier coated pistons compared to standard pistons, an increase of 32-34% was determined in the combustion chamber temperature of the piston, a decrease of 16-18% was determined in the pin housing of piston and a decrease of 34-39% was determined in the piston skirts.
