Principals’ Perception of Entrepreneurship Education as a Management Strategy for Economic Security in Rivers State, Nigeria

Abstract


The study x-rayed the perception of principals of public senior secondary schools on the role of Entrepreneurship education as a strategy for economic security in Rivers State. Three research questions were utilized for the study while the design of the study was descriptive survey design. Data was analyzed with mean and rank order.

Findings revealed that entrepreneurship education is a strategy for economic security, However, findings revealed that although there are many challenges facing entrepreneurship education there were prospects. The study finally recommended that government should improve funding among others.
