Multiculturalism: Some Implications for Sustainable Development in Africa

Abstract


The history of philosophy is characterized by the emergence of ideologies or philosophies that have influencedsocial relations at one time or the other. Multiculturalism is one of such philosophies. As a philosophy ofassociation or cultural and social relations, this paper argues that it is an indispensable tool for Africa’sintegration, and consequently sustainable development.
