Evaluation of Nurse Perception in Applying Information Systems of PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital

Abstract


Background: Throughout the world have spent vast sums of money for information systems, is therefore important to evaluate the results. Evaluation is important to determine the value or amount of success in achieving predetermined goals. The goal of implementation Information system is different from one hospital to another hospital. Purpose of the information system based on the needs of hospitals, their own funds and the ability of the human resources themselves.

Purpose: To evaluate the implementation of hospital information systems in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Yogyakarta.

Methodology: Mix methodis to use a combination of quantitative methods incross-sectional study design and qualitative methods with case study research design to the 23 respondents with purposive sampling. Of the 23 respondents, 21 respondents retrieved data using questionnaires. And further in-depth interviews were conducted to eight respondents.

Results: PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Yogyakarta has reached the goal, but there are still obstacles in the process of socialization and skill enhancement of human resources. Based on descriptive analysis of user perception of SIRS included in either category (85.2%) and their interaction is there a compatibility of interconnected between SIRS who was beginning to be built to facilitate and speed up its service with 7 modules of understanding or knowledge of staff and the willingness to use it.

Conclusion: PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Yogyakartahas reached the destination in the application of Hospital Information Systems.
