Novel approach to Synthesis of Pentofurano nucleoside assisted natural phosphate doped with CF3SO3H as catalyst

Abstract

This article describes a method for the preparation of ribonucleosides using the solid-phase approach. Several D-ribonucleosides are prepared from 1-O-acetyl-2,3,5-tri-O-benzoyl-?-D-ribofuranoside and trimethylsilylated nucleobases under mild conditions by using natural phosphate doped with CF₃SO₃H (NP/ CF₃SO₃H) as catalyst.
