Banc assurance awareness, diversification, risks, expenses and performance of commercial banks

Abstract


The general objective of this study was to investigate the effect of banc assurance on the performance of commercial banks in Kenya. Data was collected from   12 banks which have so far embraced banc assurance in Kenya. The study found out that banc assurance awareness was positively related to performance of commercial banks same as banc assurance diversification and banc assurance expenses. However, banc assurance risks had a negative effect on the performance of commercial banks. The study recommends to the banks management and the marketing departments to device more ways of enhancing banc assurance awareness levels among their customers and also ventures into more banc assurance activities to improve performance.
