Sliding Mode Controller based of Building Control

Abstract


The research designed controllers for buildings which are subjected to earthquakes. The designed nonlinear controllers ought to be able to significantly reduce the floor displacements when a building is subjected to earthquakes. All the controllers were simulated based on the Matlab/Simulink software. The simulation results indicate the validness of the design.
