An Assessment of the Impact of Motivation and Job Satisfaction on Employee Productivity in an Organization

Abstract


The paper examines job satisfaction and work motivation on employee productivity in an organization.  The paper identifies the most ranked factors among the ten motivational factors that determine the performance of employee in an organization. The analysis from the theoretical findings showed that Job satisfaction “was the most ranked factor that serves as a motivating factor for employee best performance in his duties. However a study from previous researches used in this paper showed that different results could be obtained from different groups of already working employees. This study therefore can be seen as an introduction to a more detailed study to be carried by future researchers on the field of employee’s motivation in an organization.
