The Development of Critical Thinking Assesment Instrument on Elementary School’s Learning

Abstract


This study aims to develop a valid, reliable, and effective critical thinking assessment instrument used as an assessment instrument for elementary school learning. The used research type was research and development based on Borg&Gall. The population and sample were 4th grader students with total of 50 students from Elementary Schools in Bandarlampung City. Data were collected through questionnaires and test questions. The results  of reliability test is the price of“r” at 0,945. Validity test results  indicate that the instrument meets the content, construct, and concurrent validity. The result of an instrument test can it was concluded that students' critical thinking ability was good enough. This can be seen from the average value of the trial results of 36.00 in a scale of 100.
